Dr. Blanford recently retired as the Executive Director of Children’s Alliance, where he led a team of 9,000 advocates across Washington State committed to improving outcomes for children and families. He was also elected and served on the Seattle School Board from 2013-2017.

Steve Sundquist
Steve’s considerable experience in governance has deep roots in K-12 education policy. He was elected and served on the Seattle School Board from 2007-2011 and was twice appointed to serve on the WA State Charter School Commission between 2013 and 2020.
